X Shore will deliver 32 boats for M Yachts, intended for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). The order, expected for completion by the end of next year, is the largest in X Shore’s history. The order will include a mix of X Shore models, which will be showcased in M Yachts’ showrooms across the key markets.
The German boating market is projected to reach an electrification rate of around 12% by 2027, according to research by Arthur D Little (and commissioned by X Shore). This growth is fueled by ICE bans on several lakes, high environmental awareness, and Germany’s rapid adoption of electric vehicles. Similarly, the Swiss and Austrian markets are following suit, with ICE bans on lakes driving demand for sustainable alternatives.
“The DACH region is a crucial market for X Shore, sharing our deep connection to the water and commitment to sustainable boating,” said X Shore CEO René Hansen. “This deal with M Yachts to deliver 32 boats reflects our shared vision of making boating one with nature through sustainable performance, seamless technology and modular, minimalistic design. It’s a key part of our long-term commercial strategy, and we’re excited for the future growth that will come with the partnership with M Yachts. This landmark deal with M Yachts not only highlights the growing demand for sustainable boating solutions but also strengthens X Shore’s strategic foothold in a region at the forefront of electric mobility.”
“X Shore boats are superb results of engineering and design and we’re overjoyed to soon showcase them across our sites in the DACH region,” added M Yachts managing partners Jan Ole Hagen and Philipp von Arnim. “The boats are fast, sleek and built with true craftsmanship in X Shore’s Swedish factory.
“We know our customers will love them and we anticipate very high demand once the boats are available. We know the X Shore boats will be especially well received in the DACH region given the dual-love of boating and the natural world.”
