Massimo Labruna, CEO at AS Labruna, took a few minutes out of Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo Europe 2024 to talk to Electric & Hybrid Marine Technology International about the company’s use of methanol as a fuel source for its fuel cell.
Labruna explained that methanol’s easy storage, transportation and refueling make it a preferred choice. The fuel cell powers a vessel’s propulsion and onboard services, offering zero emissions and noise, and can be integrated into existing systems or used as a range extender. The systems can be refitted to old boats or in new-builds.
